Eye Color

We got into the German Shepherd to produce our own dogs for Police work. Never have shown a German Shepherd in conformation. However, I do know what they should look like ;-).  I have seen bad cartilage, very light eyes, poor mouth pigment, cow hocked, and bad pasterns... Not to mention the sloped back of the American bred GSD.

So with eye color, and I'm going to check this out with a more reputable source, but I understand that light eyes are not a Disqualification in the German Shepherd. They do not even use a chart like the Rottweiler Judges do. Shame.
