-NARCOTICS DETECTION-

All of our canines are taught using the U.S. Customs Method. The canine will be taught to search for narcotics and indicate by scratching (aggressive indication) or sitting (passive indication), when their presence is indicated. The dog will be required to do this on vehicles, buildings, parcels, and open outdoor areas. The dog will be trained to detect three odors (marijuana, cocaine, & heroin) before pairing with the handler.  It has the ability to detect and remember about 21 odors.  Additional odors maybe added (Oxycodone, Methamphetamine, etc...) usually depending on what types of narcotics are in the area in which the K-9 will be utilized.

In house certifications will be performed.  Handler/Dog Teams are urged to also certify with outside Associations/Foundations.
